Why Are Obama Supporters Voting For Him?
Help me refresh my memory because I can't quite remember what this man has accomplished? People compare him to Kennedy, OK well remember this fact, Kennedy too was young, and a wonderful speaker but inexperienced. 3 months after he took office, the Bay Of Pigs materialized and we had missiles from Cuba pointed at us. His inexperience was obvious as he made decisions against his Military advisors. In the end he had made the wrong decision and we were defeated.

Osama Obama ? CNN Can't Even Keep Them Straight
Osama? Obama? Are they one in the same? Who knows, but even CNN can't keep the 2 straight. First Wolf displays a picture of Osama and it says "where's Obama", Then Chris Matthews says he is going to be discussing Obama and what he said on the campaign trail" and then displays a picture of Osama with "words, words, words" written across the picture. Which was in reference to the speech Obama stole from his supposed friend.
Maybe the reason we can't find Osama is is because he has been has been tied up giving speeches. Hmmm?

Two events made Condoleezza Rice switch from being a registered Democrat to a Republican.
The first was when she watched the 1984 Democratic National Convention that nominated Walter Mondale for president. Rice, who grew up during segregation, was turned off by an endless refrain of appeals to “women, minorities, and the poor, which basically means helpless people and the poor,” she has said. Rice decided she would “rather be ignored than patronized.”
The second event was Jimmy Carter’s professed shock at the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, demonstrating naivete and spotlighting his feeble approach to national security. The spectacle sickened her.
Substitute the name Barack Obama for Walter Mondale and Jimmy Carter and you have a good summation of this presidential candidate’s approach.
To be sure, Obama is a master at seeming to appeal to all sides. But his voting record makes it clear he is a doctrinaire liberal who sees minorities as victims and the government as the solution to all problems — except when it comes to protecting us from terrorist attacks.
According to the National Taxpayers Union, Obama has proposed at least $287 billion a year in new government spending. That does not include his more recent $150 billion “green energy plan.” He also co-sponsored a Senate bill to spend at least $845 billion a year to fight global poverty.
Obama would pay for these increases with much higher taxes, including by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010.
Americans for Tax Reform gives him a lifetime rating of 7.5, compared with 82.7 for John McCain. Indeed, the National Journal has ranked Obama the most liberal senator for 2007.
“He’s a bleeding heart liberal, but he’s smart enough not to put it in people's face right now,” says Republican Illinois State Sen. Bill Brady, who worked with Obama in the Illinois State Senate and calls him that body’s most liberal member.
When speaking out against tax cuts, Obama has likened the Ownership Society, which includes such measures as personal Social Security accounts, health savings accounts, incentives to expand home ownership, and tax cuts to encourage growth of small businesses, to “social Darwinism.”
Speaking to the National Women’s Law Center in November 2005, Obama said, “The idea here is to give everyone one big refund on their government — divvy it up into some tax breaks, hand them out, and encourage everyone to use their share to go buy their own healthcare, their own retirement plan, their own unemployment insurance, education, and so forth.”
In Washington, he said, “They call this the Ownership Society. But in our past, there has been another term for it — social Darwinism, every man and woman for him or herself.”
In other words, instead of helping people to help themselves and grow the economy at the same time, Obama’s approach would keep them dependent on government handouts, encouraging them to think of themselves as victims. When it comes to keeping America strong against terrorist threats, it’s quite a different story.
Like a 6-year-old kid who wants to be friends with everyone on the block, Obama has said he would offer prompt negotiations with anti-American despots. More frightening, Obama voted last August to give Osama bin Laden and other terrorists the same rights as Americans when it comes to intercepting their overseas calls in order to pick up clues needed to stop another attack.
Obama recently avoided voting on extending the Protect America Act, thus putting America at risk when immediate interception of terrorist communications is required.
Obama would withdraw immediately from Iraq, leaving that country to morph into a haven for al-Qaida and a staging ground for attacks on America.
While Obama has portrayed himself as a candidate for all Americans, his closeness to his minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, tells a different story. For more than two decades, Wright has been Obama’s friend and sounding board, a man he consults before making important decisions like whether to run for president.
In December, Wright praised Louis Farrakhan as a man who epitomizes greatness. Farrakhan has blamed blacks’ troubles on Jews, America, and whites, whom he calls “blue-eyed devils.”
Obama’s Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago espouses what it calls the Black Value System. While the Black Value System encourages commitment to God, education, and self-discipline, it refers to “our racist competitive society” and includes the disavowal of the pursuit of “middle-classness” and a pledge of allegiance to “all black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System.”
The Black Value System defines “middle-classness” as a way for American society to “snare” blacks rather than “killing them off directly” or “placing them in concentration camps,” just as the country structures “an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.”
Contrary to Obama’s portrayal of himself as a unifier, on every bipartisan effort in the Senate to forge compromises on tough issues, Obama has been missing in action.
In sum, Barack Obama’s voting record, the comments of his close friend and sounding board, and his own statements suggest that the dazzling orator from Illinois represents everything that Condoleezza Rice rejected about the Democratic Party.
If Obama is his party’s nominee, we will all applaud the symbolism of a black man achieving so much. But if they are aware of his radical agenda, it’s doubtful most Americans will buy entrusting the country’s future to him.
Faced with a press that adores Obama, the question will be whether Republicans can portray the stark difference between the man and the myth.

He's like a car salesman promising the world, but eventually you have to go into the credit managers office and find out what it is going to cost you. During the last debate in Texas Barack Obama told a story about a rifle platoon going to Afghanistan. Obama spoke about what he called “the single most important foreign policy decision of this generation, whether or not to go to war in Iraq.” Obama believes he has the judgment to be commander-in-chief, after lies like this the people will not. Obama goes on to say, “It has diverted attention from Afghanistan where al Qaeda, that killed 3,000 Americans, are stronger now than anytime since 2001.”
First two lies, Afghanistan is now a UN obligation and there problem is the Taliban not al Qaeda, they are in the Pakistan Tribal area. Obama went on to say “I heard from an army captain who was the head of a rifle platoon, supposed to have 39 men in rifle platoon ended up being sent to Afghanistan with 24 because 15 of those soldiers had been sent to Iraq. And as a consequence they did not have enough ammunition. They didn’t have enough humvees. They were actually capturing Taliban weapons, because it was easier to get Taliban weapons then it was for them to get properly equiped by our current Commander-in-Chief. Now that a consequence of bad judgment.”
3rd lie - 15 men were reasigned 12 were replaced in Afghanistan.
4th lie - They were not able to use some live fire weapons during exercises in the United States because of ammo, but did live fire train in Afghanistan. Obama made this to sound like they were in combat without ammo.
5th lie - They did capture, how you do this without equipment Obama did not say, Taliban weapons and used them. Not because it was easier but the soldiers were doing what soldiers do in every war, capture weapons and use them to kill the enemy.
6th lie - They had 3 of 4 humvees and did use other vehicles. This is a rifle platoon that is a LIGHT infantry unit to remain agile to work in the mountains.
7th lie - This incident took place during 2003, four years ago! Obama did talk to this captain, but the captain never told his story to Obama but to a staffer. Again Obama made this sound like it was currently happening.
8th lie - This was a bad JUDGMENT on Obama’a part. You do not tell lies about the soldiers it will bite you back.
How many lies can one candidate tell in one answer, EIGHT. This gaff will harm and haunt the Obama campaign.
NBC Evening News was playing damage control tonight. Brian Williams explained “There are specific GAPS, but the story largely holds up.” and Lee Cowan said “The sum of the overall story is still the same.” This sound like the CBS story on fake G.W. Bush documents during his National Guard service. Dan Rather lost his job over the proved fake documents created in Word, lets make sure Barack Obama does not get a job, especially Commander-in-Chief.
This proves that Obama does NOT have the judgment to be President of the United States.

Michelle Obama’s comment that, for the first time in her adult life, she feels proud of America helps crystallize who Barack Obama is.
To be sure, the wife of a candidate is perfectly free to have views that are distinct from her husband’s. But on a matter that is so fundamental to one’s being as love of country, it is difficult to imagine that Michelle Obama would publicly twice make such a statement suggesting disdain for America unless she felt it comported with her husband’s views.
Equally important, her statement aligns perfectly with the hate-America views of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s minister, friend, and sounding board for more than two decades. On the Sunday following 9/11, Wright characterized the terrorist attacks as a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later, Wright suggested that the attacks were retribution for America’s racism.
“In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01,” Wright wrote in his church magazine Trumpet. “White America and the Western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”
Wright has been a key supporter of Louis Farrakhan, and in December, honored the Nation of Islam leader for lifetime achievement, saying he “truly epitomize[s] greatness.”
Farrakhan has repeatedly made hate-filled statements targeting Jews, whites, America, and homosexuals.
Those who think two of the closest people to Obama could publicly make anti-America statements unless Obama himself felt that way, are fooling themselves. To date, Obama has proven himself to be nothing more than a great orator, rendering the statements of those around him even more important in illuminating his true character and agenda. During his Senate career, he skipped 17 percent of the votes and sponsored only one bill that became law. That bill was to promote “relief, security, and democracy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
Bereft of official accomplishments, Obama has distinguished himself mainly by being against measures that protect American security, such as finishing the mission in Iraq. If we were to leave Iraq quickly, as Obama vows he would do, it would become a launch pad for al-Qaida attacks on the U.S.
Obama avoided voting on extending the Protect America Act, thus putting America at risk when immediate interception of terrorist communications is required. Last August, Obama voted against a measure that would have allowed the U.S. to continue to monitor overseas conversations of terrorists like Osama bin Laden without first obtaining a warrant.
If his radical vote had prevailed, bin Laden would have been given the same rights as Americans.
To this day, Obama has not distanced himself from most of Rev. Wright’s comments. In a statement supposedly issued to address the matter, Obama ignored the point that his minister and friend had spoken adoringly of Farrakhan and that Wright’s church was behind the award to the Nation of Islam leader. Instead, as outlined in a Jan. 17 Newsmax article, he disingenuously claimed he thought the magazine bestowed the award on Farrakhan for his efforts to rehabilitate ex-prisoners.
Neither Wright’s encomiums about Farrakhan nor the Trumpet article mentions ex-prisoners.
Similarly, after John McCain’s wife Cindy responded to Michelle Obama’s remarks by telling a Wisconsin rally, “I have, and always will be, proud of my country,” Barack Obama told a radio interviewer that his wife did not say what people think she said. He then proceeded to rewrite her comments, claiming that she had meant she was encouraged by the “large numbers of people” who have gotten involved in the political process. Michelle Obama then made a similar revision of her remarks.
In her speech in Milwaukee, Michelle Obama said flatly, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”
And what has been wrong with America up to now? That it gave Michelle the opportunity to attend Princeton and Harvard Law School? That it gave Barack Obama the chance to attend Columbia University and Harvard Law School and become a U.S. senator making more than $1 million a year from book royalties?
Was it that America stopped Nazi Germany from continuing to murder millions of Jews? That America has provided Africa and other countries with $15 billion to combat the spread of AIDS/HIV and that another $30 billion is on the way? That 46 percent of all Americans classified by the Census Bureau as poor own their own homes, 76 percent of them have air conditioning, and 75 percent of them have at least one car? Or that America allows us to express our views freely without fear of being put in jail, as is the case in Russia?
A lawyer, Michelle Obama is perfectly capable of expressing herself precisely. In fact, she spoke from a written speech.

Michelle Obama’s comment that, for the first time in her adult life, she feels proud of America helps crystallize who Barack Obama is.
To be sure, the wife of a candidate is perfectly free to have views that are distinct from her husband’s. But on a matter that is so fundamental to one’s being as love of country, it is difficult to imagine that Michelle Obama would publicly twice make such a statement suggesting disdain for America unless she felt it comported with her husband’s views.
Equally important, her statement aligns perfectly with the hate-America views of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s minister, friend, and sounding board for more than two decades. On the Sunday following 9/11, Wright characterized the terrorist attacks as a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later, Wright suggested that the attacks were retribution for America’s racism.
“In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01,” Wright wrote in his church magazine Trumpet. “White America and the Western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”
Wright has been a key supporter of Louis Farrakhan, and in December, honored the Nation of Islam leader for lifetime achievement, saying he “truly epitomize[s] greatness.”
Farrakhan has repeatedly made hate-filled statements targeting Jews, whites, America, and homosexuals.
Those who think two of the closest people to Obama could publicly make anti-America statements unless Obama himself felt that way, are fooling themselves. To date, Obama has proven himself to be nothing more than a great orator, rendering the statements of those around him even more important in illuminating his true character and agenda. During his Senate career, he skipped 17 percent of the votes and sponsored only one bill that became law. That bill was to promote “relief, security, and democracy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”
Bereft of official accomplishments, Obama has distinguished himself mainly by being against measures that protect American security, such as finishing the mission in Iraq. If we were to leave Iraq quickly, as Obama vows he would do, it would become a launch pad for al-Qaida attacks on the U.S.
Obama avoided voting on extending the Protect America Act, thus putting America at risk when immediate interception of terrorist communications is required. Last August, Obama voted against a measure that would have allowed the U.S. to continue to monitor overseas conversations of terrorists like Osama bin Laden without first obtaining a warrant.
If his radical vote had prevailed, bin Laden would have been given the same rights as Americans.
To this day, Obama has not distanced himself from most of Rev. Wright’s comments. In a statement supposedly issued to address the matter, Obama ignored the point that his minister and friend had spoken adoringly of Farrakhan and that Wright’s church was behind the award to the Nation of Islam leader. Instead, as outlined in a Jan. 17 Newsmax article, he disingenuously claimed he thought the magazine bestowed the award on Farrakhan for his efforts to rehabilitate ex-prisoners.
Neither Wright’s encomiums about Farrakhan nor the Trumpet article mentions ex-prisoners.
Similarly, after John McCain’s wife Cindy responded to Michelle Obama’s remarks by telling a Wisconsin rally, “I have, and always will be, proud of my country,” Barack Obama told a radio interviewer that his wife did not say what people think she said. He then proceeded to rewrite her comments, claiming that she had meant she was encouraged by the “large numbers of people” who have gotten involved in the political process. Michelle Obama then made a similar revision of her remarks.
In her speech in Milwaukee, Michelle Obama said flatly, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change.”
And what has been wrong with America up to now? That it gave Michelle the opportunity to attend Princeton and Harvard Law School? That it gave Barack Obama the chance to attend Columbia University and Harvard Law School and become a U.S. senator making more than $1 million a year from book royalties?
Was it that America stopped Nazi Germany from continuing to murder millions of Jews? That America has provided Africa and other countries with $15 billion to combat the spread of AIDS/HIV and that another $30 billion is on the way? That 46 percent of all Americans classified by the Census Bureau as poor own their own homes, 76 percent of them have air conditioning, and 75 percent of them have at least one car? Or that America allows us to express our views freely without fear of being put in jail, as is the case in Russia?
A lawyer, Michelle Obama is perfectly capable of expressing herself precisely. In fact, she spoke from a written speech.

I would think being that she has had to opportunity to attend both Princeton as well as Harvard, this country has given her a lot personally. I don't know too many others who have had that luxury.
She is not proud of the men and women serving our country now and the ones who have fought for our freedom in the past? She was not proud when Americans banned together to support the families of Sept.11th tragedy?

Opps! Obama Did It Again!
Once again, Obama "borrowed" from his "friend" Deval Patrick, governor of Massachusetts. I find it really even more amazing that the media just doesn't report these things.
His speeches are what are motivating everyone to vote for him and now once again we find out he "borrowed" yet another speech. He claims it was a line. Well, so far I have found 2 speeches and it is more than a line. So if his words are what are motivating and it is not his own words, then how is "HE" the motivator? Maybe we should vote for Devel Patrick. He's the one who Obama is stealing the speeches from.

Obama Plagiarizes His Speech
Barack Obama has been busted for plagiarizing a speech during a campaign stop this past weekend and not giving credit to where they speech came from.
The similarities between the a speech made by Deval Patrick, the current Democratic governor of Massachusetts, back in October 2006 are too much to ignore as plagiarized.
Barack copied several lines as well as the linguistic speech patterns from Deval's "Just Words" speech for Obama's own "Words Matter" speech in Wisconsin.
He replied that he and Patrick are friends and they were kicking around ideas together and still never really admits that he stole the speech.
Of course the media darling is excused and it will be brushed under the rug again.

Obama To Raise Taxes To Support His Special Interest Groups
Everyone is jumping blindly on the Hussein Obama waiting for them to pass out the Kool Aid but maybe they should take a look at just a few of the tax hikes we are going to endure.
He keeps promising more and more and all his special interest groups are already figuring out their new windfalls. But someone is going to have to pay for that. Who? Well, I don't know about you, I am surely will have to pay.
Take a few minutes and read a few of these articles "in his own words" of what he will do to pay for the projects.
“I believe it is important for us to look at all the options," Obama said. "The best option would be to make sure that those who are in the best position to help solve this problem are willing to do so.”
"Meet the Press" moderator Tim Russert asked if this proposal was indeed a tax increase, and Obama said the proposal amounts to "a tax increase for people like myself.”
I find in insulting that Obama said that "people like myself are paying a little bit more". As a member of the legislative branch of our goverment (Senators and members of the House of Representatives) they do not pay anything into the Social Security trust fund. Not a single penny of their salary is subject to the social security tax. They have a completely separate retirement fund that is 100 percent funded by us, the taxpayers and the cost to them is nothing. How dare he use himself as an example of someone who would be willing to contribute more of his salary to Social Security because despite a six digit income, these people contribute zip. It's very easy for them to take action on raising this tax because it's a tax that they don't pay so raising it doesn't affect their take home pay at all. It only affects us, the taxpayers but then again when did any of these elected officials really care about us (I mean really care in us, not just pander to get our vote).
Well,the truth is that all middle class will be hit but he will target families who earn over $95,000 not "people like him". His wife Michelle earns almost 1 million dollars alone at the "non-profit" hospital she works for. So NO it is not people like him. He tries to downplay his wealth and act like he is like the average American family.

I'm all for helping others but how about helping Americans first? And how about the money coming from Government cutting their expenses and not asking us to foot a bill for another group?

Obama Lies About How He Snubs Hillary
Obama obviously turns his back on Hillary and lies and says he turned because Claire asked him a question, when in actually no one was there and he obviously just turned his back on her as she extended the handshake.

Obama has a big burden now facing him. He left out that at first he couldn't afford the home but after Tony got involved the house that Obama couldn't afford at 1.6 million suddenly was lowered to 1.3 million so that Obama could afford it and Tony's wife bought the adjoining lot for full price. He also forgot to tell us that Rezko hosted several fundraiser's for Obama in his own home as well as donating personally to Obama's campaign. We all know how John Kerry is like a buzzard always on the prowl for some fresh source of media coverage for him. I'm sure you remember when he was running for president and he was there at the finish line when Lance Armstong crossed the finish line, he was there smiling as Lindsay Lohan praced down the red carpet because at the time she was the "it" actress. Anytime he could get in the press, he took the opportunity.
Now once again he is circling his fresh prey. He backed Obama and now he is running around campaigning for Obama. I'm starting to think that the Obama people are testing the waters. They know Kerry was caught in many lies while campaigning, including the fraudulent documents his team submitted to Dan Rather that ultimately cost him his career.
But we are like sheep and we are guided by the media and are great at over looking a persons past if it suits us and the media allows us to.
I do think that if people give support to Kerry because they have over looked his past lies, then Obama might chose to chose him on his ticket.
He knows he already has the African American voters, but Kerry could bring him the resisting white voters. So if Obama gets the nom, don't be surprised if you see Kerry flip flipping and windsurfing his way to the Vice Presidency.
